Charles Mansion located at 3301 Waverly Drive in the Los Feliz neighborhood, Los Angeles, holds a dark history about the murder of its former owners Leno and Rosemary LaBianca by Manson family members back in August 1969. Rosemary LaBianca, co-owner of a clothing store, was stabbed 41 times, and Leno LaBianca, a supermarket executive, was stabbed 12 times and was randomly picked by the murderers.
The property had a main residence and a guest house. The guest house was later demolished, and a new house was constructed in the same area. Charles Mansion’s current owner Zak Bagans bought the house last July when it was up for sales for $1.98 million, but now he wants to sell it. The house is available in the market for $2.2 million. He is a star of a thrilling reality show ‘Ghost Adventures’ where he visits haunted destinations and investigates paranormal activities. He told the media that he really planned the house to use as a film production location. But now has changed his mind out of respect for the LaBianca family. Currently, Robert Giambalvo from Redfin realty holds the listing of the house.
Apart from its frightening history, the house is a true masterpiece. The Spanish-style 1,600 square feet house has stunning downtown Los Angeles views, the San Gabriel Mountains, and Griffith Park. Moreover, the house has a spacious living room with Italian tile floors, two bedrooms, two pink-tiled bathrooms, and a large backyard with a pool. The house also has a covered patio overlooking the pool giving it that classic appearance.
The real-estate agent Robert Giambalvo said he was shocked by the lack of questions regarding the house’s history from the prospective buyers to whom he has shown the house in recent months. The house has attracted many people from the entertainment industry who seek privacy and a quiet neighborhood.
