Handler’s Real Housewife-level fortune has kept her from having to work for the past decade. She bought a $3 million mansion in the Hollywood Hills, a renovated guesthouse in the Malibu Hills, a $4.4 million condo in Manhattan, and a $9.5 million home in Westchester. The comedian certainly has the time — she’s written a book, hosted a TV show, and even launched a cookbook. But she recently came under fire for using the n-word on her Netflix talk show. After the episode aired, Handler addressed the controversy in an interview with ABC.
“I knew that I would be called out for saying it,” she said. “I’ve been called out for saying it and I’ve said it, so why wouldn’t I say it on TV?”

When Handler purchased her home in 2012, she hired LA-based architecture firm PWP (People Who Plan) to oversee the renovation. PWP, who has worked with celebs like Jennifer Aniston and Kim Kardashian, renovated the home with a Mediterranean-inspired design. The home features a Mediterranean-inspired architecture with a rock-and-adobe exterior, a glass-fronted modern entryway, a grand foyer with a sloping glass ceiling, a living room with brass fixtures, a dining room, a kitchen with a glass-fronted breakfast bar, a pantry, a mudroom, a laundry room, and a guest suite with a private bathroom.
