Matthew Thomas Holliday was born on January 15, 1980, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) left fielder and a hitting coach at Oklahoma State University. On April 16, 2004, he debuted for the Colorado Rockets and ended his career on October 1, 2018, playing for the Colorado Rockets. Besides, he played for Oakland Athletics for six months in 2009, for St. Louis Cardinals from July 2009 to December 2016, and the New York Yankees for a year in 2017 and finally moved to Colorado Rockets in 2018. During his career, Matt Holliday was a seven-time All-star and four-time Silver Slugger.

Matt Holliday earned more than $163 million in his 15 year MLB career and has a luxurious lifestyle, out of which he currently sold a gorgeous waterfront Florida mansion for $8.5 million. Billy Nash, the founder of Nash Luxury at Illustrated Properties, represented the buyer in the sale, and Waterfront Properties and Club Communities, holds the listing of the mansion. The house is located in the neighborhood where other celebrities like Serena Williams, Rickie Fowler, and Brooks Koepka live.

The Tuscan-style custom home was built in 2013, and records show that Holliday purchased the property for $7 million in 2016. Being listing initially for $11 million in 2019, the undisclosed Northeast buyer got the house $2.5 million less than the listed price, i.e., $8.5 million.

The 9,086 square feet waterfront estate comes with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Apart from which it features a gourmet chef’s kitchen, a wine cellar, a covered lanai, a fire pit, a cabana, a fabulous pool, a spa, an outdoor kitchen, an elevator, a home theater, and an eight-car garage. It also features a guest house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Jupiter, the town on the southeastern coast of Florida and at the northern edge of Palm Beach Country, is home to some of the high-end residential developments, including the Bear’s club community.
