Matthew Thomas Holliday was born on January 15, 1980, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) left fielder and a hitting coach at Oklahoma State University. On April 16, 2004, he debuted for the Colorado Rockets and ended his career on October 1, 2018, playing for the Colorado Rockets. Besides, he played for Oakland Athletics for six months in 2009, for St. Louis Cardinals from July 2009 to December 2016, and the New York Yankees for a year in 2017 and finally moved to Colorado Rockets in 2018.
